So let’s get started! We’ll start from wherever you are and head towards wherever you want to go. We can work on constructing basslines, learning particular tunes or styles, music theory, how to play with other musicians, improvisation, or we can just work on jamming. Whatever works. The goal is just to have fun and learn something new!
I am a gigging musician who has been playing bass for over 20 years. I have also been a high school and college teacher for over 18 years (not teaching music). I’m sure my combined experience can help you learn the bass or guitar, or take your beginner or intermediate bass playing to the next level. I do lessons in and around Murphys, CA (Arnold, Angels Camp, Columbia, Sonora).
